Bergey's weekend prices + a Saturday wine festival
Friday vs. Saturday admission, City Park plans and Restaurant Week starting Monday.
OCTOBER 9-10 | MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD
Bergey's maze: Friday and Saturday have different prices
Planning a fall outing at Bergey's, 2207 Mount Pleasant Road? For ages 8-64, the operator lists $17 on Friday, October 9, and $22 on Saturday, October 10. Ages 2-7 are $12 on either day; ages 0-1 and 65+ enter free. The city tourism listing gives hours of 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Saturday. This season's maze has an aviation theme.
What to do: Check the operator's current terms and weather updates before heading out. Access to the pumpkin patch does not mean a pumpkin is included.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 | CITY PARK
Saturday: Chesapeake Wine Festival at City Park
The organizer schedules this year's festival for Saturday, October 10, noon-6 p.m. at Chesapeake City Park, 900 City Park Drive. Tastings end at 5 p.m. On-site parking is free; festival admission requires a ticket. A valid photo ID and age 21 or over are required to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.
What to do: Use the organizer's ticket link to check current admission prices and availability before traveling.
OCTOBER 12-18 | PLAN AHEAD
Following the story: Restaurant Week begins Monday
Chesapeake Restaurant Week runs October 12-18. Black Pelican Greenbrier, 1625 Ring Road, still has a $30 dinner menu linked from the city tourism organizer's participant page. Other participating restaurants and price points are listed there too. This is next week's offer, so plan ahead rather than expecting the Restaurant Week menu this weekend.
What to do: Open the menu and ask the restaurant about availability and any additional charges before booking.
